These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the VOLLEYBRIDGE website, platform, player database and recruitment services. By creating an account, submitting a player application, registering a club, making a recruitment enquiry, or otherwise using VOLLEYBRIDGE, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. The Platform

VOLLEYBRIDGE is an international volleyball player management, representation and recruitment platform designed to connect volleyball players with clubs, teams and other legitimate sporting organisations seeking players.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may review player applications, publish approved player profiles, verify clubs, receive recruitment enquiries, facilitate introductions and assist communications and negotiations between players and interested clubs.

Publication of a player profile or verification of a club does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, employment offer, signing, transfer or contractual commitment.

2. Player Registration & Approval

Players must provide complete, accurate and truthful information when registering with VOLLEYBRIDGE.

This may include personal details, nationality, playing position, height, experience, playing history, achievements, statistics, photographs, videos, passport or eligibility information, availability and other information relevant to recruitment.

Submitting an application does not guarantee publication on VOLLEYBRIDGE.

VOLLEYBRIDGE reserves the right to approve, reject, request additional information, temporarily hide, suspend or permanently remove any player profile at its discretion where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the platform.

Players must promptly notify VOLLEYBRIDGE if their availability, club status, contact details or other material information changes.

3. Club Registration & Verification

Access to recruitment features is restricted to clubs and authorised representatives approved by VOLLEYBRIDGE.

A club may be required to provide evidence confirming its identity, legal status, representative's authority, official contact information and other information reasonably required for verification.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may approve, reject, suspend or revoke club access where verification cannot be completed or where there are reasonable concerns regarding the club's conduct or legitimacy.

Registration alone does not create a right to access confidential player information.

4. Player Profiles & Recruitment Information

Approved player profiles may contain information such as playing position, physical attributes, nationality, career history, achievements, availability, statistics, photographs and video links.

Certain information, particularly personal contact details, identification documents and other confidential information, will not be publicly displayed.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may decide what information is visible publicly, what is available only to verified clubs and what remains confidential.

5. Recruitment Enquiries

A club interested in a VOLLEYBRIDGE player must submit its enquiry through the recruitment process provided by VOLLEYBRIDGE.

An enquiry does not automatically give the club permission to contact the player directly.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may first establish the legitimacy of the opportunity, including the identity of the club, proposed competition, location, contract period, remuneration, accommodation, travel arrangements and other relevant conditions.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may decline to forward an enquiry where it considers the opportunity incomplete, misleading, inappropriate or potentially harmful to the player.

6. No Circumvention

Players, clubs and their representatives must not intentionally use information, introductions or contacts obtained through VOLLEYBRIDGE for the purpose of bypassing VOLLEYBRIDGE in relation to an active recruitment opportunity introduced through the platform.

Where VOLLEYBRIDGE introduces a player and club, subsequent recruitment communications concerning that opportunity should continue through VOLLEYBRIDGE or with VOLLEYBRIDGE's knowledge until the parties are informed otherwise.

Users must not obtain information through VOLLEYBRIDGE and then deliberately approach another party privately for the purpose of avoiding agreed VOLLEYBRIDGE procedures, representation arrangements, commissions or service fees.

Any applicable representation, commission or recruitment fee must be separately disclosed and agreed where required.

7. Player Videos, Photographs & Content

Players are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights or permissions to submit photographs, videos, statistics, biographies and other material to VOLLEYBRIDGE.

By submitting content, the player grants VOLLEYBRIDGE permission to display and use that content for legitimate player-profile, recruitment and promotional purposes connected with the platform, subject to applicable law.

YouTube and other third-party videos may be embedded or linked from player profiles. Such content remains subject to the relevant third-party platform's terms.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may edit, resize, format, decline or remove submitted material where reasonably necessary for presentation, accuracy, legal compliance or platform standards.

8. Accurate Information & Misrepresentation

Users must not submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.

This includes misrepresenting:

  • identity, age or nationality;
  • playing history or current club;
  • statistics, achievements or national-team experience;
  • authority to represent a club or player;
  • employment or contract opportunities;
  • remuneration or contractual conditions; or
  • photographs, videos or documents belonging to another person.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may immediately suspend or terminate an account where material misrepresentation or suspected fraud is identified.

9. Acceptable Use

Users must not misuse VOLLEYBRIDGE.

This includes unauthorised scraping, copying or downloading of player databases; automated extraction of profiles; impersonation; harassment; unsolicited mass messaging; attempting to defeat platform security; unauthorised sharing of confidential player information; or using player information for purposes unrelated to legitimate volleyball recruitment.

Player information obtained through VOLLEYBRIDGE must not be sold, redistributed, published or transferred to unrelated third parties without appropriate permission.

10. Confidentiality

Information disclosed during recruitment discussions may be confidential.

Clubs must treat non-public player information responsibly and use it solely for evaluating legitimate recruitment opportunities.

Players must similarly respect confidential information received concerning clubs, offers, contracts and negotiations.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may restrict access to users who misuse confidential information.

11. Recruitment Decisions & Contracts

VOLLEYBRIDGE facilitates recruitment opportunities and communications but does not guarantee that any player will receive an offer or that any club will successfully recruit a player.

Unless VOLLEYBRIDGE expressly becomes a party through a separate written agreement, any employment, playing, transfer or service contract is entered into directly between the relevant player and club.

Players and clubs are responsible for reviewing and understanding their contracts before signing them and for obtaining appropriate independent professional advice where necessary.

12. Travel, Visa, Registration & Eligibility

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, the recruiting club and player are responsible for determining the requirements relating to visas, work permits, international travel, insurance, medical examinations, federation registration, player transfers and competition eligibility.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may assist with coordination but does not guarantee that visas, registrations, transfers or other governmental or sporting approvals will be granted.

13. Fees & Commissions

Certain VOLLEYBRIDGE services may involve recruitment fees, representation fees, commissions, subscription fees or other charges.

Where a fee applies, the relevant amount, payment responsibility and payment terms should be communicated and agreed before the applicable paid service or representation arrangement is undertaken.

Users must not intentionally circumvent VOLLEYBRIDGE to avoid a properly agreed fee or commission.

14. Suspension & Termination

VOLLEYBRIDGE reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate access where a user:

  • breaches these Terms;
  • provides false information;
  • misuses player data;
  • attempts to circumvent VOLLEYBRIDGE;
  • fails required verification;
  • engages in fraudulent, abusive or unlawful conduct; or
  • creates a material risk to players, clubs or the platform.

Where appropriate, VOLLEYBRIDGE may also remove associated profiles, enquiries or content.

15. Privacy & Personal Information

VOLLEYBRIDGE will process personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

Player contact information and sensitive documents should not be publicly disclosed unless there is an appropriate reason and lawful basis to do so.

Access to confidential player information may be limited to VOLLEYBRIDGE personnel and appropriately verified organisations involved in legitimate recruitment.

16. Platform Availability

VOLLEYBRIDGE may modify, update, suspend or discontinue features of the platform where reasonably required.

Although reasonable efforts may be made to maintain accurate and available services, VOLLEYBRIDGE does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every profile, statistic, video, club submission or third-party link will always be error-free or available.

17. Limitation of Responsibility

VOLLEYBRIDGE provides a platform for player management, recruitment facilitation and introductions.

Unless separately agreed in writing, VOLLEYBRIDGE is not responsible for the subsequent performance of contractual obligations by a player, club or third party.

VOLLEYBRIDGE does not guarantee employment, playing time, salary payments, sporting performance, visa approval, transfer approval, competition participation or the financial condition or future conduct of another user.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

18. Intellectual Property

The VOLLEYBRIDGE name, branding, website design, database structure and original platform content are owned by or licensed to VOLLEYBRIDGE.

Users may not reproduce, commercially exploit, copy or create competing databases from VOLLEYBRIDGE content without written permission.

19. Changes to These Terms

VOLLEYBRIDGE may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary to reflect changes to the platform, services, legal requirements or recruitment procedures.

Material changes may be communicated through the website or registered user accounts.

Continued use of VOLLEYBRIDGE after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

20. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [COUNTRY/JURISDICTION].

Any dispute arising from use of VOLLEYBRIDGE should first be addressed through good-faith discussions between the parties.

If the matter cannot be resolved, it shall be handled by the courts or agreed dispute-resolution mechanism of [JURISDICTION], subject to applicable law.

21. Acceptance

By selecting “I Agree,” “Register,” “Submit Player Profile,” “Register Club,” “Send Recruitment Enquiry” or otherwise continuing to use VOLLEYBRIDGE, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

For club accounts, the person accepting these Terms also confirms that they have authority to accept them on behalf of the club or organisation they represent.
