Player Information

When a player applies to VOLLEYBRIDGE, we may collect information including:

3. Public Player Profiles

Players applying to VOLLEYBRIDGE understand that, following approval, selected professional and sporting information may be displayed publicly on the VOLLEYBRIDGE website.

This may include the player's:

• name, nationality, age, playing position, height, sporting statistics, playing history, achievements, profile photograph, biography, availability and volleyball videos.

VOLLEYBRIDGE determines which information is appropriate for public display.

Publishing a player profile is intended to promote legitimate volleyball recruitment opportunities.

4. Information We Keep Confidential

VOLLEYBRIDGE does not intend to publicly display sensitive or confidential information such as:

• personal telephone numbers, private email addresses, residential addresses, passport numbers, copies of identity documents, login credentials, private correspondence, or confidential contractual information.

Where appropriate, certain information may be disclosed to a verified club or authorised representative when reasonably necessary for a legitimate recruitment process and where permitted by applicable law.

Player contact information may therefore remain controlled by VOLLEYBRIDGE so that initial recruitment enquiries are handled through the platform.

6. Recruitment Enquiries

When a verified club expresses interest in a player, VOLLEYBRIDGE may use relevant information from both parties to facilitate the enquiry.

Before disclosing confidential player information, VOLLEYBRIDGE may verify the club, representative and legitimacy of the opportunity.

Information exchanged during recruitment may include proposed club, league, country, contract period, salary or compensation, accommodation, travel, visa requirements and other relevant terms.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may retain a record of recruitment enquiries and related communications where reasonably necessary for recruitment administration, security, dispute handling and legitimate business records.

7. Clubs' Use of Player Information

Information made available to verified clubs must be used only for legitimate volleyball recruitment purposes.

Clubs and their representatives must not use player information for unsolicited marketing, unrelated commercial purposes, harassment, database creation, resale or unauthorised distribution.

Confidential player information obtained through VOLLEYBRIDGE must not be shared with unrelated third parties without appropriate permission or lawful justification.

Access may be suspended or permanently removed where player information is misused.

8. Photographs & Videos

Players may submit photographs, videos and links to third-party services such as YouTube as part of their profile.

By submitting this material, players confirm that they have the necessary rights or permissions for VOLLEYBRIDGE to use it for legitimate profile, recruitment and platform promotional purposes.

Where a video is hosted by a third-party service, viewing the video may also be subject to that service's privacy policy and terms.

Removing content from VOLLEYBRIDGE does not necessarily remove copies independently hosted by third-party platforms.

9. How We Share Information

VOLLEYBRIDGE does not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

We may share information where reasonably necessary with:

• verified volleyball clubs and authorised club representatives,
• service providers supporting the operation of VOLLEYBRIDGE,

Removing a public profile does not necessarily require VOLLEYBRIDGE to immediately delete all related records where retention is reasonably necessary or legally permitted, such as existing recruitment records, contractual records, security logs or dispute documentation.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for account authentication, security, website functionality, preferences, performance and analytics.

Where required by applicable law, users will be provided with appropriate choices regarding non-essential cookies.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may decline or restrict publication of a minor's information where appropriate to protect the player.

VOLLEYBRIDGE may contain links or embedded content from third-party websites, including YouTube, club websites and social-media platforms.

VOLLEYBRIDGE does not control the privacy practices of those independent services. Users should review the privacy policies of the relevant third-party provider when using those services.

20. Automated Matching & Recruitment Recommendations

VOLLEYBRIDGE may use information such as playing position, nationality, experience, availability, preferred destination and club requirements to help organise, filter or recommend suitable recruitment opportunities.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, such recommendations do not guarantee player suitability, club acceptance or recruitment.

Final recruitment decisions remain with the relevant player and club.
